The monastery of the “Brugse Rode Nonnen” is getting an entirely new role in the development of the city of Bruges. A highly original project is being developed behind the protective walls of the monastery. There is room for studenthousing and spacious houses integrated in the large interior garden. The architecture subtly refers to the location’s former function. Moreover, the architects have predominantly used wood for the various residential structures.

The project will also include a delightful restaurant and multiple shops.
